Our client is a reputable retail business based in the Portsmouth area who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their accountancy team.
Description
Assistant Management Accountant (Portsmouth):
- Monthly preparation of Management Accounts
- Profit & Loss
- Assistance with preparation of all required accruals and prepayments and key variance analysis
- Weekly performance reporting benchmarking against prior year, budget and forecasts
- Weekly cash statement processing
- Weekly management fee invoices and recharges
- Monthly reconciliation of relevant balance sheet accounts
- Assistance with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in line with agreed timetable
- Assistance with year end exercise and the preparation of the annual reports and audit queries in accordance with year end and audit timetables
- Assisting the Finance Manager and Management Accountant, and complete any Ad Hoc tasks that may be required on an ongoing basis
Profile
The successful candidate will have some experience with the above and will ideally be a part qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
Job Offer
Salary £25,000 - £30,000
