Job Description

This role sits within the finance team of Informa Markets EMEA reporting into the CFO EMEA. The role will work closely with and support the Executive Vice President for Food, in addition to other senior-level stakeholders.

The Senior Finance Business Partner will be responsible for providing insightful and high-quality reporting and analysis to inform commercial decision making.

This role will act as a pro-active, strategic advisor to the Executive Vice President, Food, and his/her leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Finance Business Partner is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:
  • Deliver timely, high quality management information to inform the decision-making of business leaders. This will include monthly management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and other ad-hoc reporting.
  • Contribute to decision-making processes, making economically sound recommendations to business leaders.
  • Work with business leaders to model the impact of pricing decisions and key supplier contracts.
  • Develop standardised reporting outputs and finance process improvement for the business.
  • Analyse market, product and business trends and forecasts.
  • Participate in strategic planning and analysis and any projects as assigned.
  • Manage financial reporting processes including month-end and Balance Sheet review.
  • Work closely with Global Business Services and Finance Shared Services to optimise business services such as O2C, P2P and R2R.


Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience of finance business partnering
  • Qualified Accountant with recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and financial modelling skills
  • Able to interrogate data, demonstrating good commercial acumen to arrive at clear conclusions
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-starter with proactive nature, and ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to build rapport and work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience using Oracle, TM1 (IBM) and SAP would be advantageous
