Tax Assistant with Study Support

A multinational, international business based in the South Manchester area is currently looking for a Tax Assistant to join their expanding team. This team is going through a period of significant growth and they are now in need of an ambitious and driven individual to assist the tax team with a range of tax related tasks (study support offered).

Description

You will be responsible for, but not restricted to:

• Support Tax Accountant with the day to day processes

• Assist in the management of import clearances, including supporting the management of duty saving schemes where applicable.

• Liaise with customers and wider business

• Ensure correct documentation is received

• Examine documents on arrival to ensure all details are correct

• Support Tax Accountant in the production of the monthly VAT returns

• Submission of the company's Intrastats return

• Provide support and cover for payroll and treasury administration

• Assist with adhoc projects
