Finance Executive

My client are a growing FMCG company in St Albans who are seeking a Finance Executive to join them on a permanent basis.

Busy and varied role working in a small and friendly team. Role will involve Month End Duties, Accounts Payables, Payroll, VAT returns, payments, accruals and much more. Paying a competitive salary of up to £30k.

Client Details

My client are a growing FMCG company who have products in many stores across the UK. They have a medium sized Finance team in their office in St Albans and are recruiting for a Finance Executive to join them on a full time permanent basis.

You will report into a friendly Financial Controller and be involved with many aspects of Finance including Month End, Payroll, VAT Returns and Accounts Payable. The company use SAGE so experience of this package would be an advantage. The company treat their staff well and offer a friendly working environment.

Description

• Assisting with month end
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Processing a small monthly payroll using Sage Line 50
• Cash book posting
• Processing supplier payments and invoices
• Bank Reconciliations
• Assisting with Credit Control when needed
• Ad hoc reporting
• Answering supplier calls when needed

Profile

• A hard working person who enjoys working as part of a team
• Experience or understanding of Payroll is essential
• Experience of VAT Returns, Month End and AP is advantageous
• Proficiency with Sage 50 is advantageous
• A car driver is a must
• Ability to multi task
• Able to use your own initiative
