Tax Analyst 2 (Regional Direct Tax)

TAX ANALYST 2

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare direct tax filling across multiple jurisdictions in Southeast Asia
• Prepare/perform tax account reconciliations
• Assist in handling tax audits, tax investigations from the tax authorities
• Liaison with external advisors about income tax returns and compliance requirements
• Participate in projects or assignments as directed, opportunity to work on regional or global tax initiatives/projects
• Supports ad-hoc tasks as needed  

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• At least 3 – 4 years of tax or accounting experience. Asia and international tax experience an added advantage
• Good written and spoken English 
• Strong computer technical skills – MS Office
• Strong analytical skills, motivation, and confidence to independently address issues
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that can work with people of diverse environment globally
• SAP/ other ERP system knowledge is an added advantage.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a changing and diverse environment and manage multiple projects with short deadlines; and
  • Ability and experience to effectively gather, assess, analyze tax information.
