Finance Manager

This role manages the key reporting, compliance, tax and statutory responsibilities for the UK entities of the business.

Description

The Finance Manager role involves:

• Preparation of quarterly board meeting packets ensuring timely and incisive reporting to senior members of the management team

• Develop incisive reporting and consistent, compliant processes to monitor key risk areas within the balance sheets of the overseas branches

• Quarterly management accounts for the UK operating entities including analytical review of profitability

• Ensuring all areas around tax are well controlled and compliant with requirements, including liaising with internal and external auditors and corporate tax department

• Lead role in preparation and production of statutory financial statements for UK legal entities and branches including liaison with external auditors and internal tax and accounting departments

• Preparation of management account forecasts in line with corporate planning schedule

• Manage process for the completion and review of intercompany agreements including calculations, preparation of agreements and liaising with senior management, accounting, legal and tax departments

• Calculate monthly intercompany interest figures and production of journals

• Manage transfer pricing transactions for all intercompany items affecting the UK entities on a monthly and yearly basis, including production of journals and transfer pricing invoices ensuring correct compliance with applicable VAT regulations

• Other duties as required by Finance Director

NOTE: the role reports directly to the Finance Director and has no staff management.

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager role will;

• part-qualified or Finalist CIMA / ACCA / ACA
• have experience of preparing Financial Statements
• have UK (&/or US) GAAP experience
• ideally have transfer pricing experience
• ideally have intercompany experience
• ideally have foreign currency experience
