What we do
You will be a part of KPMG IT and Cyber Advisory providing services in area of:
- IT and cyber security audits
- IT attestation audits (e.g. SOC 1/2/3 audit, readiness assessment for attestation audit)
- Preparation for compliance audits, such as ISO-27001
- GDPR and data privacy assessment and consulting
- Cyber awareness and trainings
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of high-quality deliverables and thorough documentation
- Support project management activities by building status reports, tracking deliverables, coordinating action items, and capturing meeting minutes
- Research and understand IT and cyber security related topics, concepts, tools, and processes to support client delivery
Requirements:
- Graduate or final-years student (3rd course and above)
- Degree in computer science, information security or other related fields
- Understanding of multiple technology domains including OS administration, database management, networking, software development
- Common understanding of a wide range of information security and IT audit methodologies, standards (e.g. Cobit, ISO 27x, ITIL, etc.), regulatory requirements (both Ukrainian and global), principles, technologies and tools
- Understanding of technology risks
- IT Audit or Information Security certifications are preferred (e.g. CISA, CRISC, GSNA, CISM, CISSP, etc.)
- Standing and positive reputation in the IT audit and information security community is preferred
- Sharp analytical mind and technical aptitude
- Strong verbal and writing communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and commitment to achieving results
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent spoken and written English

Internship lasts for 3 months. Interns that receive favorable reviews on completion of their internship are offered Consultant positions in IT and Cyber Advisory practice.
