Senior Finance Analyst – Commercial Finance - Trade
Location: Mornington Crescent, Greater London House, NW1

The Role
This role sits within our trading finance team where you will be responsible for supporting on financial analysis and decision making to help support ASOS in its mission to be the number one destination for fashion loving 20 somethings. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business in guiding them on business cases and actuals analysis, ensuring that sales potential and profit impact are front of mind.
This role is an excellent opportunity to work right in the heart of ASOS and get to grips with all the KPIs that drive our sales. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working in the detail to analyse business performance, but also enjoy working with stakeholders to build robust financial models to assess the potential impact of proposed sales impacting initiatives.
THE TEAM
We are currently looking for Senior Finance Analysts to join our Trading Finance team.

Our Trading Finance team work closely with stakeholders all over the business to drives sales, understand profit and model out investment opportunities.

What you'll be doing...
- Act as a finance business partner with various stakeholders, supporting the business to build business cases and work with them through to implementation.
- Own the budget and reforecasts for trading lines in the P&L, challenging stakeholders to reach ambitious targets.
- Work with insights team to understand and analyse financial information to guide decision making it the business.
- Coordinate with other finance teams to build out profit impact of initiatives and ensure full impact is reflected in subsequent budgets.
- Perform month-end analysis and reporting on variance to forecast.
- Regularly work on ad-hoc analysis and scenario modelling to inform business decision making
- Contribute to weekly reporting for C-suite.
Qualifications
We'd love to meet someone with...
- An accounting qualification (preferably CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
- Business partnering & stakeholder management experience.
- A proven ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines.
- A strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- A high standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data.
- An ability to organise own work and to take initiative.
- An ability to determine insightful observations from detail for management attention.
- Commercial awareness.
- Good communication/ interpersonal and influencing skills.
- A flexible approach and is open to change.
- A pro-active and curious attitude.
