About the role
The Assistant Management Accountant will support our Corporate services areas including Estates, Facilities, eHealth, Service Agreements and Capital.
The successful postholder will play a key role as part of the Financial Management team to provide proactive, high quality and comprehensive financial management support, information and advice to General Managers, Directors, Heads of Service and other budget managers through close working relationships, team working and effective communication.
You will:
  • Be highly motivated and able to use your own initiative with excellent communication, organisational, IT and finance/business skills
  • Be capable of working with finance, clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels
Anyone with an Accounting Technician qualification will be considered for the role but we are keen to expand our team to include individuals who may not meet the essential criteria who may be appointed into a Training role under Annex 21 of Agenda for Change. Financial support to complete the Accounting Technician qualification would be provided and we are especially keen to hear from those seeking a future career in accounting.
