As Head of Tax Compliance, Reporting & transformation you will be responsible for managing all corporate tax compliance and reporting related matters for the Group. The organisation is focussed on tax function transformation and the intelligent use of tax technology to drive efficiency and manage tax risk more effectively, and this role offers the opportunity to define and drive this change. The role will encompass managing a team in order to deliver accurate Financial Reporting information and for managing all related Tax Compliance in all operational jurisdictions. Responsible for leading a team of tax professionals within a dynamic and fast paced multi-national group to ensure that:
  • All tax compliance matters across all jurisdictions the group operates in are dealt with efficiently and accurately, including dealing with Tax Authorities regarding any related enquiries.
  • Provision of month end, half year and year-end tax accounting provisions for inclusion in the group's financial reports, including reconciliation of the related key control accounts.
  • Leading technology-enabled tax function transformation projects to ensure that this organisation is delivering tax compliance and reporting in a forward-looking, risk controlled and efficient manner.
  • Working with external advisors to ensure maintenance of complete and accurate transfer pricing documentation.
  • Assisting the CFO in meeting their Senior Accounting Officer responsibilities under UK Law.
  • Leading FATCA and CRS reporting compliance. Being a prescribed person under GDPR, responsible for maintaining the security of confidential client information which may be reportable to the tax authorities under CRS/AEOI/FATCA submissions.
  • Working with the Group Treasury Department in cash flow planning for tax payments and refunds and providing tax documentation for bank accounts.
  • Assisting Group HR with adhoc payroll queries and enquiries.
  • Assisting the client On-boarding team with tax documentation e.g. for FATCA and CRS.
  • Other adhoc duties as requested by the CFO & Global Head of Tax including assistance with acquisitions and business change initiatives.
