Financial Controller role for the UK business based in Chessington, Surrey

Management of the UK finance function

  • Produce accurate and timely management reporting (monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual)
  • Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting processes for UK business
  • VAT and corporation Tax compliance
  • Responsibility for monthly payroll
  • Systems and process monitoring and improvement
  • Manage external audit process and production of annual statutory accounts
  • Supervise and develop finance team
  • Ensure management team advised of all relevant HR matters and procedures

Information Technology

  • Work with 3rd party IT support to ensure systems and infrastructure meet requirements of business
  • Application of cybersecurity policies and system integrity
  • Manage telecoms contracts

Other office management duties

  • Provision and maintenance of company vehicle fleet
  • Oversight of Facilities Management requirements
  • Review legal contracts with Suppliers and Clients
  • Ensure all H&S requirements are compliant and up to date
  • ISO 9001 - monitor procedures and records and manage audit

Service Department Management

  • Oversight of team of 4 office based staff
  • Contract pricing and costing
  • Monitor renewals, invoicing and scheduling


  • Qualified accountant with recognised professional body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Ability to communicate comfortably at all levels (written and verbal)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good IT skills (MS Excel, finance systems)

Job Offer

Salary to £65,000 plus benefits and bonus
