Join our Risk Management team and help protect RSM from risks that arise from its professional practice. Risk Management teams provide coordinated advice and assistance on independence, conflicts, regulatory and risk management issues, as well as dealing with claims, and any queries regarding the organization's ethics. You'll help us meet our compliance responsibilities while supporting our client-facing teams as they deliver quality service to their clients and support the implementation of programs, policies, and practices to manage RSM VN’s risk. Duties may not always fall within a defined responsibility.
As Independence Coordinator you must be prepared to communicate with team members at all levels. Interaction with auditees of all ranks, up to and including partners, is a regular facet of the role.
Manage multiple responsibilities and projects (at least 2 or more) and stakeholder relationships to assure business needs are met, projects and work product are delivered timely, appropriate communication methods are used to meet stakeholder and leadership needs are met, including:

Independence Consultations with compliance firm’s procedures and policies
Independence and Ethics Compliance procedures monitoring
Independence and Ethics department development plannings and ideas
Supporting in monitoring and controlling Independence via Firm’s Client Acceptance Procedure
Holding meetings and trainings to develop and apply procedures and policies in firm’s operation (when there is requirements)
Independence and Ethics team meetings
Provide administrative support to Independence and Ethics partner(s) and independence team
Additional responsibilities, as assigned

Proficient in Microsoft office suite
Applies technical/procedural requirements of the position based on knowledge and experience within specialization
Effective organization and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend process improvement and efficiency
Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely, verbally and orally to diverse audiences across the firm and to outside professional contacts
Ability to develop and maintain applicable professional and internal contacts, resources and networks

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (required)
Auditing or finance qualifications (preferred)

Professional services firm experience in relevant area would be advanced.
