• Assist in preparation of a risk-based Internal Audit Plan taking into consideration the strategies, risks, audit history and management request.
• Undertake assignments in the approved Internal Audit Plan which is allocated to the incumbent.
• Plan audit activities and prepare Audit Planning Memorandum, Audit Schedule, Budget, Audit Program and arrange for meetings with audit customers.
• Lead audit team, perform sections assignments and monitor the progress of assignments allocated.
• Review and maintain working papers and findings related to assignments.
• Prepare draft findings, draft, final draft, and final reports for audits performed.
• Train, coach and mentor new internal audit staff in the team.
• Perform/assist in the investigation of significant suspected fraudulent activities or other reviews.
• Perform other duties when requested by the CIA.
