A highly reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Bristol has a requirement for an Audit and Accounts Senior Accountant to join their team in a key position in this growing office in a role providing audit, accounts, tax and wider services to a varied client base.

Client Details

Based in central Bristol this chartered firm acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries acting for wide ranging industry sector sole trader, partnerships and limited company OMBs, SMEs with clients from £250k - £10million plus turnovers whilst also acting for a significant number or larger clients across larger corporates with turnovers in excess of £40million. Industries are wide ranging and varied to cover manufacturing, construction, printing as a few examples and they also act for charities and not for profit clients There is therefore the whole range of clients to mould client work and portfolios accordingly dependent on the skill set, preference and motivations of the right people. Therefore professionals with an entirely accounts/tax focused background professional are of equal interest to those bring mixed audit/accounts background as well.

Description

Joining as Audit and Accounts Senior Accountant, reporting to the management and director group, you will be responsible for managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients up to £40million in turnover, developing strong relationships with those clients, along with the potential for involvement in advisory projects working with the manager group and directors. Clients are varied across a wide spectrum of industries . Your role will also include preparation of financial statements for non-audit clients, preparing accounts and other responsibilities. Given the scope of the role and positive developments within the firm, with ongoing growth, there are excellent prospects for short/medium and longer term career progression for career focused individuals, looking to develop and progress their accountancy practice careers, following qualification, within a successful firm of chartered accountants.

Profile

You will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a career background developed within accountancy practice as an Audit and Accounts Senior Accountant. You will have a recent background working for an accountancy practice of any size. So you could have a hands on and/or review background within smaller, independent firms, overseeing the delivery of audit, accounts, and wider services to a mixed client base of limited companies, SMEs and OMBs, sole traders and partnerships. Or you may have developed your career focused entirely within audit in a larger firm, working entirely on larger corporate clients and be seeking a move to a smaller firm environment offering more autonomy, influence and personal career destiny. So your career could have been developed within an accountancy practice firm environment of any size.

Job Offer

£37,000 - £44,000 dependent on the experience background and level of the right professional, plus benefits.
