Tax Associate requirements:

 

  • Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent
  • Serious and rigorous work, strong learning ability & communication and coordination ability.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin
  • The ability to work as part of a team and be accountable for deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Audit Express & Brasstax is an advantage

 

 

As a Tax Associate, specific responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

  • To prepare tax computation and Return Form as well as manage tax compliance matters for a portfolio of tax clients
  • To handle tax consulting assignment under supervision by Manager.
  • Manage workflow of tax return compliance and tax consulting assignment to ensure that they are completed within the agreed service level and timeframe.
  • To provide high quality client service.
  • To build and maintain trusting relationship with clients.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties, as necessary.
