Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.
GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

Sitting at the very center of the firm, T/CIO directly influences the composition of the firm's balance sheet as well the activities of its four main Lines of Business (LOBs): Asset & Wealth Management (AWM), Commercial Banking (CB), Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) and Consumer & Community Banking (CCB)
Role Description
The Vice President position is part of a regional team build-out to support the Data and Analytics Solutions (DAS) team within the New York-based ALM Research and Strategy Group. Vice President will lead a 3 person team supporting the Firm's interest rate risk management framework, industry leading research on deposits and money flow, and the Firm-wide balance sheet optimization effort.

Treasury/CIO - Vice President - Data and Analytics Solutions Research Vice President (India Team)
The Treasury/Chief Investment Office (T/CIO) is responsible for firmwide asset and liability management, including:
- Aggregating and managing the interest rate risk of the firm's four main lines of business (LOBs), primarily through a global investment securities portfolio
- Managing the firm's funding and liabilities through long-term debt and other funding sources, and managing short term cash deployment activities
- Aggregating and managing the firm's liquidity risk, including deploying the firm's excess liquidity. Also responsible for compliance with both internal and regulatory liquidity requirements
- Aggregating and managing the firm's structural foreign exchange risk
- Risk managing Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) on behalf of the Mortgage Bank
- Managing the company-sponsored retirement plan
- Managing the end to end risk-weighted asset (RWA) and capital measurement processes across the firm, ensuring efficient and appropriate management of our capital, and managing the Firmwide Capital Stress Testing process

- Support analytical tools for valuation of rates products such as cash and derivatives
- Participate in the analytical model lifecycle from design to end-product delivery
- Support the creation of both ad-hoc and systematic tools for large dataset analytics
- Support the application of modern data science and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to ML-focused business initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years hands on experience developing and managing production grade software
- 5 years work experience in the finance/banking industry. Ideally, should have good knowledge of fixed income markets and rates related products
- Proven track record of building, deploying and maintaining production grade software
- Proficiency in at least 1 high level language like C++, Java or Python. Fluency in Python, preferred
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed system concepts
- Experience with full stack development. Hands on experience with Flask, Bootstrap and React frameworks, preferred
- Experience writing sql queries, procedures and general working knowledge of databases
- Experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms, preferred
- Experience with ML algorithms and data science practices, a plus
- Team player with strong communication skills and demonstrated experience for leading a team
- Should be flexible with EMEA shifts
