Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant | Bristol | Full Time or Part Time (at least 3 days)|£25,000-£35,000 depending on experience
Our client is a firm of chartered accountants based in Bristol. The company provides a personalised level of service to business owners and individuals.
Due to continued growth, the company is looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join the team. The role would suit someone who has an accounting qualification or someone who has worked in practice during their career and is qualified by experience
Please note- Sociable Office Hours are 8.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Are you the right person for the role?
If you have the following, then the answer is yes!
- Possess an accounting qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Have experience in a similar role.
- Comfortable using online cloud accounting software Xero (the company is a silver partner) as well as Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Be friendly, polite, and work well as part of a team.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- High standard of written and spoken English.
- Have excellent communication skills.
What will your role as a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant look like?
The successful candidate would be tasked with preparing the following for small business clients:
- Limited Company accounts from bookkeeping records.
- Self-Assessment tax returns.
- Partnership accounts and tax returns.
- Payroll / CIS duties.
- Sole trader accounts.
