Vualto, a subsidiary company of JW Player, is looking to bring on a part time Staff Accountant to help with our Finance functions. As the Staff Accountant, you will be supporting our Financial Controller with multiple projects that make massive impacts to our scaling organization.

The Opportunity:
Vualto, a subsidiary company of JW Player, is looking to bring on a part time Staff Accountant to help with our Finance functions. As the Staff Accountant, you will be supporting our Financial Controller with multiple projects that make massive impacts to our scaling organization.
As a Staff Accountant, you will:
- Manage the Purchase Ledger:
- Fully own the AP function and process.
- Be responsible for checking and processing invoices for approval through SAP Concur.
- Handle any AP queries and amendments.
- Prepare a weekly list of payments to vendors.
- Bank reconciliations:
- Enter all bank transactions for 4 bank accounts including GBP, USD and Euro currencies.
- Month end reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Sales Ledger:
- Prepare and send invoices through Netsuite.
- Some credit control work and other AR queries.
- Enter all credit card transactions to Netsuite, correctly adjusting for VAT and foreign currencies.
- Obtain missing credit card receipts and reconcile the month end statement.
- Assist with the month end process including entering journals for items such as prepayments, accruals & deferred revenue.
- Help with the preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Other general duties including:
- Keeping the fixed asset register up to date.
- Support with gathering information for the year end audit.
- Supporting the wider UK team with general office admin duties.
- Ad hoc tasks as delegated by the Financial Controller.
Requirements for the role:
- AAT or another recognised accountancy qualification.
- Previous experience in a busy Accounting or Finance department.
- NetSuite and Salesforce experience beneficial.
- Excellent proficiency in the use of spreadsheet programs and other software applications for financial analysis.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in performing all essential duties and strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
