You'll join the team as we move forward in enabling the bank to manage the risks associated with the use of End User Computing Tools (EUCs). You'll play a pivotal role in managing and co-ordinating the activities needed to support the annual attestation and improve the awareness and management of risks inherent with EUCs.

It'll be down to you to ensure that the software used by the bank to manage EUC tools is used to its optimum capability whilst keeping the end user firmly in mind.

What you'll be doing

  • Using information gathered from our EUC stakeholders to recommend and influence the strategy for managing EUC tools. This will include analysis of outputs from the software, risk analysis, undertaking defined tasks on a larger project and resolving business queries.

  • Managing the outputs required to support the reporting process.

  • Managing people to continue to support the growth and development of a direct report.

  • Managing service of the EUC management software (ClusterSeven) and managing the EUC mailbox, ensuring that queries are resolved.

  • Ensuring that users have resources available which support learning and understanding on how to manage EUC tools and their risks and, working with other specialist teams to support the stewardship of EUC policy relevance and compliance.

What you'll bring.

  • Excellent PC skills, aside from Microsoft office package, it is important that the role holder is comfortable using XML and is IT literate including knowledge of Javascript.

  • Experience in presenting and leading group and individual support sessions to provide ad-hoc technical and policy support.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Excellent analytical and data analysis skills (Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills)

  • A good understanding of the business and financial services industry, with knowledge of the commercial environment.

  • Taking responsibility for understanding the risks in your scope of responsibility and agreeing actions to address where possible.

  • Ability to organise work stack and meet deadlines.

This permanent role will be home based, with infrequent travel to Milton Keynes for meetings.
