Job summary
Amazon Advertising seeks a Snr Finance Analyst to deliver reporting and insights to support Financial Planning & Analysis across 5 EU markets.

Operating at the intersection of advertising and ecommerce, Amazon Advertising offers advertisers a rich array of innovative solutions across Amazon's mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices and DSP solutions. We are breaking fresh ground and pioneering a crucial platform for future Amazon growth. We are entrepreneurial and have a bias for action with a broad mandate to experiment and innovate. This role is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon.

The successful candidate will be responsible for standard and adhoc analysis and reporting. They will dive deep to deliver insights that advise leadership across input/output metrics and strategic initiatives. The role will work across Ads finance teams as well as regional and local sales, and partner with regional tax and accounting teams.

This role requires an individual advanced excel/sql capabilities and strong analytical ability. Business acumen, strong partnership skills and an ability to think big are required. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to prioritise and with strong attention to detail.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Controllership, planning and reporting.
• Analytical insights on input/output metrics and strategic initiatives, delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaboration with Tax and Accounting as well as regional and local sales, finance and FP&A.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Commerce or similar discipline with analytical bias.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or Post Graduate Degree in relevant field.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment.
  • Experience solving complex and large-scale pricing problems and applications.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, financial analysis and customer/product segmentation.
  • Advanced Excel modelling and SQL skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
