Job Description

Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) plays a critical role in the successful execution of the firm's Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk mission. The CCOR function ensures the development and maintenance of a strong controls culture, by developing and maintaining a program infrastructure that identifies, measures, and monitors Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk adherence. CCOR works closely with Business, Controls, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit functions to provide expertise on risk matters, assess and measure related risks, and monitor and test the adequacy of the firm's control environment.

The role of our 2nd Line of Defense CCOR organization is to support the company in maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and operational compliance with both the spirit and intent of the many policies, laws, rules, and regulations that govern the JP Morgan Chase Lines of Business (LOBs) and Corporate Functions.

The Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) Data Analytics Testing team is seeking a highly self-motivated individual that possesses analytical and investigative capabilities. This position will be located at the Hyderabad location of the Corporate Centers in India. The team will be covering all Lines of Business within JP Morgan - Corporate and Investment Bank, Asset Wealth Management, Commercial Bank and Consumer Community Banking.

The primary role of the CCOR M&T Data Analytics team is to transform/ automate using digital transformation tools, build machine learning models, apply statistical techniques for effective risk management practices. It shall extract relevant data from line of business systems of record to construct test populations, define testing approaches and design and document test procedures and attributes in order to perform an analysis of the results relative to the applicable policy, rules, laws and regulations governing the lines of business functions. This role will assist in enabling the transformation of CCOR M&T from a manual process based organization to one that will leverage various automated analytics tools and approaches to assess conformance with regulatory requirements impacting the LOBs and Corporate Functions.

GENERAL LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Work with Agile product owner to deliver requirements that can be turned into actionable, valuable stories that align with project roadmap and deliverables.
  • Build user stories, tasks and epics, Backlogs, Sprint planning activities, preferably using JIRA
  • Validating requirements (UAT Testing) and proving a signoff on the requirement

Required:
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent with overall experience of 6-9 years and minimum 5 years of relevant experience on techno-functional business analyst roles


  • Strong experience in project management, data analysis, business architecture and developing workplans in order to create solutions and execute implementation of the tools


  • Strong experience in building wireframes and architectural work flows using Visio and other tools.


  • Work with Agile product owner to deliver requirements that can be turned into actionable, valuable stories that align with project roadmap and deliverables.


  • Agile methodology experience/Scrum Master experience with user stories, tasks and Epics, Backlogs, Sprint planning activities, preferably using JIRA


  • Ability to establish rapport quickly with a wide variety of people from heads, business experts and development teams to understand the bigger picture, elicit and analyze requirements


  • A great capability in team consultation, with proven evidence of working across new technical and project teams to help identify improvements in current technical delivery.


  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet business goals and are of value to our customers


  • Experience validating requirements with customers and driving delivery of the solution through development and testing


  • Excellent Communication, Presentation, Time management, Planning and Prioritization skills


  • High level of personal accountability


  • Prior development experience on SQL, Alteryx, Python or .Net


Desired Skills:
  • Experience in Risk & Compliance Domain will be an added advantage
  • Agile Certification or Scrum Master certification will be an added advantage.
