As an AML Analyst, you will support DLL UK with all Customer Due Diligence, Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions (CAMS) related activities covering all the tasks occurring during customers lifetime from onboarding to off boarding. The role will actively take responsibility as first line of defence for ensuring, controlling compliance screening in line with the relevant AML regulations. The person will be joining the Regulatory review team where daily work is overseen by the AML Coordinator, reporting to the Regional AML Manager for Europe North.

Your function

Day to day:

As an AML Analyst you will be working on:

  • Active Management of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Business Partner Due Diligence (BPDD) flows, including Alerts handling and CDD Reviews
  • Research, analysis and investigation of CDD files, evaluation of information and providing guidance to the Business to ensure correct identification and verification of related parties for all customers, dealers, partners and suppliers
  • Writing recommendations as a result of the AML risk assessment on CDD, following standard rules and procedures
  • Preparation of Client CDD Files as required by Local Compliance Officer for 2nd LOD monitoring or for Dutch Central Bank review
  • Active Management of CDD Event Driven Reviews
  • Active Management of transaction monitoring and investigations
  • Active Management of changes driven by legislative and regulatory changes
  • Support the Chief Risk Officer, Local Compliance Officer and Regional AML Manager in completing the Annual AML Risk Assessment

Your profile

Essentials:

To be successful in the role you will have/be:

  • 2+ years AML experience
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulation, particularly regarding AML/KYC requirements.
  • Excel skills – intermediate level
  • Team player
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Champion for change drive when required
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time to maximize efficiency and to meet strict deadlines
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude and good problem-solving skills
  • Strong communications and report writing skills
  • Strong risk awareness
