Accountant - Open to Audit Candidates (Up to 33k)

Our client is a US Listed company focusing on IT products trading and providing IT solution in globe scope. With 10 offices, and over 1000 employees across the globe, they are now seeking for a potential candidate that can adapt in challenging and fast-paced environment.

Description

• Handle full set accounting ledgers for 2-4 APAC companies, including month end closing, all balance sheet accounts reconciliations/schedules, and sales & margin/P/L accounts/variance analysis, flux & trending
• Preparation and processing of month end journals/journal files including the preparation of underlying cost plus & transfer pricing invoices where necessary
• Manage corresponding statutory audits, annual filings, tax filings, other statistical filings as required by local authorities
• Maintain both US GAAP book using ERP System and perform US GAAP book to Statutory book reconciliations
• Develop, refine, and update, implement and document business and accounting workflow processes
• Proactively seeking process improvements and provide recommendations
• ad hoc requests/analysis/projects as required

Profile

• Bachelor's degree with major in accounting, or finance
• a minimum of 2 years accounting/audit experience
• Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis in MS Excel (i.e. pivot tables). Experience with PeopleSoft ERP system it's advantage
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Ability to identify and focus on Root cause and propose resolution to processes as needed
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, and effectively as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
• Must have a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude, looking for enhancement/improvement
• Flexible working approach
• To communicate and influence leadership regarding matters of substantial importance to the function, conducts briefings to senior leaders if required.
