ASSISTANT PLANNING AND REPORTING ACCOUNTANT
(Band 6)

Integrated care systems (ICSs) are partnerships of health and care
organisations, local government, and the voluntary sector. They will take
on statutory form following the implementation of proposed legislation
from 1 July 2022 and will comprise of an Integrated Care Board (ICB) and
Integrated Care Partnership (ICP). The Integrated Care Board will take on
the CCGs' functions and broader strategic responsibility for overseeing
healthcare strategies for the system.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the finance directorate to support
the Gloucestershire ICB in delivering the finance agenda with regards to
planning and reporting of its financial performance.

The successful post holder will assist the Principal Accountant (Planning
and Reporting) in all financial aspects which will involve complex analysis
of information and assisting in the budget setting process of the ICB and
ICS.

You will need a very pro-active approach and be able to develop excellent
working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You
will need to be highly motivated, organised and provide sound financial
information and advice in a timely manner, both independently and as
part of a wider Finance team.

This post is for a part qualified CCAB/CIMA Accountant with post qualification experience being desirable.
