They currently provide accountancy services to High Net Worth Individuals, Sporting Professionals and the companies that they control.

Client Details

Our client is based in Altrincham in a modern office, shared with wealth management and a sports agency. They specialise in helping high net worth individuals with their accounts and future financial planning.

Description

Specific client duties:

This firm act for large group based in the UK & US operating in the sports and media industry as well as golf course design. This will make up a large portion of your work load and will involve:

  • Managing monthly accounts of the various companies
  • Preparing cashflow forecasts and budgets for group companies
  • Managing and reconciling income and expenses of projects
  • Dealing with personal finances and budgeting of owners
  • This is more in tune with management accountancy so would need to be comfortable with this as well as providing traditional statutory services below.

Standard accounting duties (but not limited to):

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Running payroll runs
  • VAT return preparation
  • Accounts preparation for review by directors
  • Tax Computation preparation for review by directors
  • Managing due dates and deadlines

Other (if desired):

  • Developing a social media strategy with specialists
  • Updating website with specialists
  • Involvement with marketing of the firm
  • Attending networking events (not mandatory)

Profile

  • Be ambitious to assist with a small firm grow
  • Experience with Xero or Quickbooks is essential - or experience with similar accountancy software ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong communicator looking to become part of a growing team
  • Brilliant organisational skills to manage own work load
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to manage several non-related tasks
  • Based locally and have ability to drive
