Who we are looking for


An experienced manager responsible for the management and leadership of the Financial Reporting Team in the provision of Financial and Regulatory Reporting to clients. This typically involves the planning and management of team resources, supervision of progress and oversight of outsourced functions from Poland Financial Reporting Team and working with clients, Fund Accounting/ Client Delivery Management, Auditors, COE’s and the other stakeholders to ensure financial reports are completed accurately and to timetable.

Embedding a culture of client service excellence within the team, ensuring effective management and delivery of client commitments and strategic initiatives to timeline.

What you will be responsible for

As Financial Reporting Manager – Assistant Vice President you will

  • Work closely with senior management to shape policy and strategic direction to deliver on our commitments.
  • Continuously drive and promote departmental change, drive continuous improvement/efficiency whilst reducing risk exposure.
  • Successfully lead and implement Financial Reporting business transformation targets and objectives in line with departmental/company strategy
  • Manage the operations and performance of the core financial reporting teams assigned to you
  • Maintain understanding of client SLA provisions and relevant KPIs to ensure delivery of the highest quality of client service
  • Perform effective and comprehensive oversight of all outsourced service providers including measurement of performance to agreed SLA and Key Risk Indicators,
  • Manage and develop relationships across the business including your clients and audit firms. 
  • Financial Reporting SME contact and key escalation point for operational issues, as well as providing technical expertise to resolve problems
  • Manage operational risk exposure through the implementation of a robust control environment Make sound operational and management decisions to resolve complex issues.
  • Set and maintain standards of personal and professional performance/behaviour ensure self and team comply with all corporate policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership, coaching and motivate staff. Foster an environment that supports effective team work across teams locally, regionally and globally.
  • Evaluate performance and provide feedback on the staff, promote and support continuous development for self and team through effective engagement in periodic performance discussions.
  • Support Senior Management, deputise for your manager and perform other duties as required.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional accountancy qualification or qualified by experience.
  • Obtained or studying towards obtaining IOC exams
  • ACCA or CIMA membership advantageous

Additional requirements

  • At least 6-8 years previous experience of financial reporting for unit trusts, OEIC’s or other collective investment schemes
  • Previous management and leadership experience required
  • Thorough understanding of accounting standards and Statement of Recommended Practice
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of fund administration.
