Job Description

The core role will be supporting the EMEA Liquidity & Account Solutions and Global Liquidity PSS businesses in the following capacity:

  • As a trusted advisor to the Liquidity, Escrow, Account Services, GLASS, 3PM and Global PSS teams in EMEA
  • Key point of contact for front office and support functions to help achieve business objectives
  • Drive data-driven analysis to help facilitate decision making
  • Help communicate the business strategy, performance and priorities within the region and globally
  • Proactively and on request provide strategic analysis and reporting to facilitate business progression
  • Ensure the business is in compliance with LOB and corporate-wide objectives and policies
  • Build effective relationships and work closely with F&BM colleagues across Payments and beyond
Summary of Core Responsibilities: 
  • Oversight of monthly performance reporting and forecasting process, including revenue, balances, spreads, expenses and head count trends
  • Management of the annual planning process and monthly performance tracking against plan
  • Produce strategic and financial presentations for meetings, business reviews & senior management forums
  • Establishment and execution of the Liquidity & Account Solutions business strategy and priorities in conjunction with the Business Head
  • Liaise with Liquidity and Escrow product teams to align objectives and initiatives  
  • Preparation of periodic and ad-hoc business performance presentations / reviews
  • Review deal pipeline and work closely with Sales to provide monitoring against targets
  • Assisting product managers with reporting and tracking of new business initiatives
  • Assess impact of changes in regulations / market events such as interest rate changes
  • Key point of contact for ensuring business adherence to controls
  • Expenses and headcount management, analysis and review
  • Contribution to the EMEA/Global F&BM agenda (priorities, projects, events)
  • Work with the Planning & Analysis team to ensure accurate business analytics, financials and forecasts are produced in a timely manner
  • Work with the Product Control team to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting
  • Perform gap and variance analysis on key drivers of revenue, and proactively identify revenue improvement or business opportunities
  • Partner with business managers from other Lines of Business to understand key business priorities and leverage synergies to drive business agenda
  • Project manage existing and new business or finance initiatives (may include regional or global)
  • Partner closely with functional groups to support the risk and control agenda
  • Provide proactive and tactical support to the wider Payments Management Team as required
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a Product Management, Business Management or Finance role in the Financial Services Industry is a must
  • Very high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge of Liquidity, Cash Management and Trade Finance is preferred, specifically in product offering and understanding of revenue drivers
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders
  • Experience in creation of business reviews and senior presentation material
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to translate complex data into cohesive information for management
  • Strong analytical, numerical, project management and organizational skills as well as attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills; flexibility, ability to prioritise requests and multi-task
  • Strong understanding of Banking products
  • Disciplined approach to managing processes and controls with a view to improve
