A leading financial services company is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team based in Cape Town, for a 12-month contract. This role will involve a hands-on approach within the Finance Department including management reporting, statutory accounting, budgeting, regulatory reporting, taxation, consolidation, group reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Annual budget process
- Responsibility for the accounting and statutory reporting
- Monthly management reporting
- Reviewing and approving invoice batches from the accounts payable team
- Month end accounting processes
- Preparation of regular board reports
Requirements:
- CA(SA)
- Minimum 2 years post articles experience
- Previous financial services experience is essential
