Assistant Management Accountant - c£22,000 Per Annum - Norwich - Full Time
Reed Accountancy and Finance are proud to be working with a local authority in the Norwich area who require an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team working alongside the Management Accountant and Finance Business Partner. This will involve contribution heavily to the production of monthly management accounts and financial information.
The Assistant Management Accountant will have a keen interest in developing a career in Finance. They will also possess strong communications skills, interpersonal skills, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
The Assistant Management Accountant position itself entails the following in summary:
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will provide expert support across a number of accounting duties, including; budget preparation, year-end accounting and audit completion. This is an opportunity for you to work in a diverse and commercially focussed finance team, giving you the chance to grow and develop your knowledge with industry training and first-hand experience.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Ideally AAT Qualified, working towards or willing to work towards further industry qualifications
- Experience working within a previous finance environment
- Experience supporting the preparation of management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations - Desirable
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
