Page Personnel are exclusively working with a Not-for-Profit organisation in the Education Sector that are based in central Nottingham, in their search for a permanent Finance Partner to join their team due to recent growth. This is a really exciting opportunity for someone with a Not-for-Profit and Public Sector background looking for a more commercially focused finance role.

Client Details

My client is a large Not-for-Profit organisation in the Education sector based in Nottingham and due to recent expansion, they are looking to appoint a Senior Finance Partner to their team. It is a really exciting time to be joining my client, they are in the midst of upgrading their systems and this postholder will be a part of this project. They are a forward-thinking organisation that can support your development and provide you with a positive working atmosphere to develop your professional career in Finance.


The Senior Finance Partner will be reporting directly to the Director of Finance. Within this role, the Senior Finance Partner will be expected to take the lead in providing efficient and effective financial services and work alongside the senior leadership team in the organisation to develop financial plans, budgets and forecasts. More specifically, job duties will include:

  • Supporting internal stakeholders with budget setting, monitoring and scenario planning throughout the year
  • Work collaboratively within the Finance team to implement new and improved processes
  • Plan, prepare, monitor, and evaluate Consolidated budget
  • Lead on a monthly review of management accounts to ensure accuracy and variance analysis
  • Work with internal stakeholders on an Annual budget plan and forecasting for the year


The successful candidate will:

  • Be fully AAT qualified (or have proven relevant experience)
  • Have experience working in a Public Sector or Not-for-Profit Finance environment
  • Have a good understanding of financial procedures
  • Be an excellent communicator and have an ability to influence others
  • Be competent with Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Be able to adapt to change quickly and present solutions

Job Offer

The candidate can expect a competitive salary between £32,500-£37,000 (doe) + 26 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday + flexible working opportunities + study support for AAT, CIMA or ACCA + a permanent opportunity and stability + other voluntary benefits
