Assistant Accountant

We are recruiting for a pharmaceutical business with a well known reputation in its industry. Due to some exciting growth, they are looking for two Assistant Accountants to join their accountancy function to work in the asset accounting team.

Description

As Assistant Accountant, you will support the Cash and Asset Accounting team and performing tasks which include:

• Daily cash postings and uploading payment files
• Processing all receipts from the bank statements
• Cash reconciliations
• Managing fixed asset accounting processes including project capitalisation, capital work and global reconciliation across multiple systems
• Reviewing asset depreciation
• Process impairments and disposals
• Providing reports on fixed assets and distributing across the business

Profile

For this Assistant Accountant role, it is essential you have:

• Experience working in a similar role, ideally with fixed asset experience
• Experience working in a large, process driven business
• Experience working to tight deadlines and able to deliver in a timely and accurate basis
• Excellent communication skills and able to talk to people across different departments and levels
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
