Job Description

The Digital and Platform Services Finance and Business Management (DPS F&BM) organization is responsible for planning and tracking the budget and hiring for the Corporate Investment Bank’s Technology and Operations organization, as well as advising the business on how to invest in those organizations.  Performing this function involves inputting data across a multitude of systems and then making decisions based on data coming out of those systems.

The complex systems architecture involved currently leads to a significant amount of effort spent reconciling data discrepancies and manual efforts in assembling data prior to presenting to our business partners to help drive the business.  An effort is underway to simplify our data architecture by establishing a central data repository to combine data from the various golden sources and model it in a way that can be more easily accessed by our users using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and other proprietary tools.

As a Program Manager you will lead and deliver the launch of this new data repository and act as ongoing Product Owner for the repository, helping to shape its strategic roadmap and partner with technology to prioritize the development backlog.  You will partner closely with a dedicated Information Architect to develop a strategic data model which will be exposed to various Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and other bespoke reporting and data exploration tools.  You will face off to consumers of our data which can range from dashboard developers to end users with bespoke reporting requirements and ensure they are able to acquire the data they need in an efficient manner.

In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery following the Project Life Cycle. You will partner with key business and technology partners to analyze business/operational processes, identify business and operational requirements, oversee technology build, manage user testing, and coordinate solution implementation. The Project Manager is accountable for providing senior management comprehensive project updates.

  • Partner with external operational leadership, functional SMEs, key stakeholders consumers in the design and implementation of the global operating model for operations (roles/responsibilities, location strategy, control framework)
  • Develop end to end change management plans to transition from current state to target operating model
  • Day-to-day maintenance of project plans, metrics, risk/issues as well as development and occasional presentation of project status reports/updates to the organization and senior management
  • Provide project or business analysis support as necessary on other projects (e.g. product on-boarding)
  • Manage communication of status updates to stakeholders and Senior Management through scorecards
  • Provide business and data analysis to large, cross line of business initiatives; analyzing and documenting key business discussions and requirements, managing timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies tracking action items and other project related materials
