The Finance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the financial management of the business, helping to lead the team through a period of growth.

I am working with a market leading business in Ipswich who are looking to hire a Finance Manager in to their finance team. This company have and excellent reputation in their industry and put a really high value on the well being of their employees.
Description
- Financial operations including book-keeping and management accounts, invoicing, VAT-return, bank reconciliation and cashflow.
- Presentation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, including analysis of the Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Project Performance.
- Managing financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
- Identification and implementation of mechanisms to minimise financial risk.
- Month end accruals / prepayments, Payroll, PAYE, NIC.
- Fixed asset register and depreciation calculations.
- Responsibility for the budgeting and forecast process, including variance analysis and monitoring cashflow to predict future trends.
- Overseeing bank accounts and processing payments as directed.
- Assisting external accountants in UK and abroad.
- Working with auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations such as HMRC.
- Keeping up to date with current financial regulations and legislation, advising Management when necessary.
Profile
- Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent qualification
- Education and background in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager
- Strong technical accounting ability, analytical and good research skills
- Previous experience of managing and developing staffs
- Advanced systems skills including excel and experience of working with an ERP system (SAP preferred).
- Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
- Ability to explain complex issues and present technical information clearly
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise
