An outstanding permanent, hybrid opportunity has arisen to join one of the North West's most successful, award winning businesses as a Commercial Finance Analyst, based in Chester. Reporting to their impressive Commercial Finance Manager, you will be joining a PE Backed business with exceptional growth, which will offer excellent progression opportunities along the way. Responsibilities will include: - Support the Commercial Finance Manager on business partnering the Product Team and associated workstreams and initiatives.- Work collaboratively with the business and the project management office to seamlessly co-ordinate the delivery of business cases in line with internal processes.- Support business case creation via the delivery of accurate and timely analysis to ensure all relevant impacts have been identified and assessed accordingly.- Undertake commercial analysis for Commercial Finance and the wider business to aid decision making.- Ad hoc support on cross functional projects and strategic initiatives as required.With your key responsibilities being:- Support Commercial Finance to partner across the business to deliver core results and assess future growth potential opportunities.- Undertake commercial analysis, including cost and benefit analysis, for the business to support creation of business cases.- Populate key Commercial Finance updates on the overall status of live projects and initiatives and communicate to relevant stakeholders.- Ensure the impact of approved business cases are reflected in annual budgets and reforecasts.- Evaluate risks and opportunities ('R&O') associated with business opportunities through analysis, backed by credible assumptions, presenting for inclusion in the central R&O register.- Support the post investment appraisal process by working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to complete associated analysis and reporting on project and initiative delivery.- Support on cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives as required.- Aid wider business decision making through the provision of accurate and timely information / analysis as required.- Playback financial data and modelling to a range of stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.- Support delivery of the annual budget and reforecasts.- Produce monthly reporting and track performance trends as required.- Actively support the resolution of business queries with core Finance in relation to items such as budget / forecast availability, timesheeting, cost classifications and month-end variances. To be considered you will have the following experience: - Part qualified accountant (CIMA) - Prior experience in a commercial analyst role within industry - Worked with or supported cross functional / non-finance teams with experience in investment appraisal / business case modelling- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment- High attention to detail- Excellent communication skills- Excellent organization skills, delivering to tight deadlines- Excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills- Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills- Strong commercial awareness - Ability to adapt to change As well as a competitive salary DOE + annual bonus, you will receive Study Support towards your CIMA qualification, 33 days' holiday (including bank holidays), additional day off for you birthday, plus many more excellent benefits.
