Assistant Manager - MNC Commodity Trading (Up to 38k)

Client Details

Our client is a MNC Commodity Trading Company with mining and investment projects all over the world. They are currently looking to expand the Hong Kong office and seeking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Description

• Handle full set of commodity trading accounts & month end closing independently
• Liaise with bankers / brokers on treasury, trade finance and hedging activities
• Handle daily account payable & receivable
• Prepare cash flow forecast and plan for funding requirements
• Prepare monthly schedules, various analysis reports and general ledger
• Perform budgeting, auditing and handle accounts reconciliation
• Develop and implement accounting & finance policies
• Perform ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor

Profile

• Degree holder in accountancy, finance and other related disciplines
• Qualified CPA (HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent) is preferred
• Familiar with Swiss GAAP is a plus
• 3 years or above relevant working experience in commodity trading field
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• A team player with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail minded, well-organised, able to meet tight deadline and work under pressure independently
• Familiar with MS Office applications, Chinese word processing
