Our client is a consultancy firm primarily supporting financial and technology focused organisations. They are looking for an accountant to join their team. 5 days Office based role

- Assisting the head of internal audit with reviewing the accuracy and completeness of monthly management accounts for various entities, including cost accruals, prepayments, accrued/deferred revenue & associated journals at the month end
- Responsible for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, investigating variances and explain them to the management team
- Responsible for Revenue recognition process across multiple entities
- Oversee intercompany process and ensure balances are cleared on a timely basis
- Responsible to oversee fixed assets register, including additions and disposals and checking monthly end depreciation/amortisation
- Liaising with the inhouse bookkeepers on a weekly basis to make sure accounting is carried out for all new projects, posting necessary acquisition accruals
- Summarise complex information in regard to acquisitions and providing detailed analysis to senior management
- Ensure government compliance in all tasks
- Proficiency with current accounting software
- Understanding of GAAP and IFRS
- Oversee budget forecasting and cash flow management
- Assist with yearend close down of multiple entities
