Temporary Internal Auditor - 6 months - Paying up to £52,279 Your new companyMy client is one of the largest non-for-profit organisations in Wales. They are currently recruiting for an interim Internal Auditor for a period of between up to six months to take on the excess workload of the team.Your new roleYou will be assisting the Senior Auditor in the planning of each audit review, including the approach and techniques to be adopted, a preliminary assessment of risks and controls and the reporting mechanism to Management. You will perform and deliver audit assignments in accordance with the agreed terms of reference and in line with key performance indicators and professional standards. You will also provide advice on risk management, internal control and audit matters to Welsh Government officials in consultation with your Senior Auditor in response to ad-hoc enquiries or as an IAS representative on project boards.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant (ideally IIA / CCAB), with previous internal audit experience. You will possess a keen attention to detail and an ability to work unsupervised.
