The role sits within the Banking & Treasury Services business unit, specially the Capability, Industry and Delivery Practice.

The Practice is highly collaborative but is split into two main functional areas:

  • Capability and Industry, which is concerned with strategy, defining business product scope and design for projects and initiatives within its purview.
  • Delivery which is concerned with the implementation of both business and technical change once the scope, priorities and design have been set.

The Regulatory & Business Reporting Capability Lead will be part of the Capability and Industry function.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

The role is two-tone in nature:

Regulatory Reporting

There needs be focus on creating contemporary and robust regulatory reporting models – both from a business ops model perspective and in relation to the optimum reporting tools chosen/built to do the job(s). This will include the need to lead a small team in forensic analysis of data and recommend the appropriate approaches(s) to ensure that NT’s regulatory reporting needs are complied with. This could include one or several of the following interpretation and translation of regulatory requirements; data cleansing; business process change; business rules within reporting tools and remain accountable in an oversight design capacity for the successful implementation of the capabilities required to support the Regulatory Reporting needs.

  • Previous experience in a role responsible for Regulatory Reporting within the Payments sector would be highly advantageous.
  • A good base knowledge of how global payments are cleared around the world and the associated AML regulations that apply.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills as this role will be required to deal directly with Senior/Exec level within NT plus external regulators as the need arises.
  • Passion for data and data related problem-solving skills.

Business Reporting

To lead the requirements definition, design and provide oversight and drive in the implementations of a strategic set of business reporting tools and dashboards, this will include:

  • Operational reporting into STP payments and receipts
  • Error and exception reporting
  • Client, currency and market level reporting
  • Charges, fees and billing reporting
  • Management dashboard reporting show trends around value, volumes, spikes and troughs
  • Ad hoc reporting request from other areas of NT on payment and receipt traffic and behaviours.

Close liaison with Banking & Treasury Services Operations Managers will be required in designing and building this strategic capability.

Previous experience of designing/working with internal reporting capabilities within the payments sector would be advantageous.Passion for data and data related problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • Degree educated or equivalent work experience in this field.
  • Background in data analytics and management information reporting preferred.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written presentation skills.
