Job Description

JP Morgan SE is the newly consolidated banking entity in the EU resulting from the merger between our Luxembourg, Ireland and Germany entities to become a Top 20 entity under the ECB supervision.

JPMSE Capital Monitoring and Regulatory Reporting team

The team is a high-profile function, providing financial information to the European Central Bank (“ECB”), European Banking Authority (“EBA”) and the Bundesbank and the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).

The team is a multi-cultural team based in Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Bangalore and Warsaw, working as one to deliver best in class regulatory reporting, under a strong and effective control framework.

We are looking for a strong and motivated team member in delivering regulatory reporting to join as a Associate

The role is based in Warsaw, and will report to the Daily Capital Monitoring Lead based in Frankfurt.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily Monitoring:

  • Preparing of the data required for the daily analysis of
    • Capital and Capital Requirement
    • Large Exposures
    • Loans against affiliated counterparties (“Organkredite”)
    • Line of Business limits
  • Analysing of the data and deriving action points in collaboration with the team lead
  • Partnering with the various stakeholders to explain/educate on the process and getting an understanding of their needs.
  • Work with the Capital Production team to organise the production of the daily and maintain a scoring of the production.

Additional deliveries

  • Delivering data required for the liquidity monitoring (LCR / ALMM / NSFR) to the relevant teams and act as a contact for queries.
  • Preparing monthly internal reporting to the group as well as deliverables to Resolution & Recovery plan.

Overarching expectations

  • Having an open eye for improvements of the current process
  • Keep up to date and developing a broad knowledge in all regulations relevant to the remit of the role.
  • Becoming a visible person of the team for relevant stakeholders and data providers.

Skills and experience:

Required:

  • Knowledge of COREP and Large Exposure Reporting.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to critically review and challenge numbers / strong analytical skills
  • Flexibility to work under pressure to meet changing work requirements and strict deadlines
  • An interest of improving data quality at all time.
  • Proactive and self-starting individual with high levels of ownership

Preferred

  • Accounting Qualification within Financial Services industry
  • Experience in regulatory liquidity reporting (LCR/NSFR/ALMM)
  • Familiarity with reporting requirements in general (CRDV, CRR2, FRTB, IFRS, USGAAP, FinRep) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Access, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of banking products (Repurchase agreements, securities, derivatives, deposits, loans, credit facilities)
