As a Manager in our Stockport Audit team you will assist in dealing with a range of clients acting as their trusted business adviser. In combination with this, you will oversee all aspects of client engagement assuming overall responsibility for allocating work and ensuring client service is maintained at a high level. Day to day you will manage the end to end audit process, including budgets, timescales and billing, together with planning and close-down client meetings.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of UKGAAP (UK ISA's and FRS102) and be ACA or ACCA qualified. You'll have experience of auditing clients within a variety of industries, as well as significant senior level experience and the ability to manage a portfolio of clients, whilst providing coaching and mentoring to the wider team. Azets will provide you with ongoing mentoring and coaching as you continue to develop personally; the successful appointment will have a collaborative outlook with a dynamic approach to management.

"You will be based at our Stockport office, working alongside three audit partners and three existing managers on a wide variety of clients across a range of industries with turnovers ranging from £100k to £100m+. Your time will be spent in the office, out at clients and home working as required. You will be joining a forward-thinking, progressive office (being part of a Top 10 national firm but retaining a local office feel) with a supportive and friendly atmosphere. "
