Client Details

Our client is a medium to large (80M+€) Belgian Retail company with offices located in Brussels. They are growing quickly, provide a bilingual NL/FR work environment as well an attention to work/life balance.

Description

As Chief Accountant, your main responsibilities are :

  • Managing and overseeing the daily Accounting activities
  • Monitor and produce analysis on monthly and annual closings
  • Monitor defined KPI'and assist with M&A projects
  • Be the central point of contact for external audit, and assist with internal auditing regarding accounting
  • Back-up to the CFO for executive tasks

Profile

The ideal candidate :

  • Bilingual Dutch / French with a good level of English
  • At least 7 years of experience in A-Z BEGAAP Accounting
  • A first experience in People Management is mandatory
  • Proficiency with AX Dynamic is a plus
  • Proficiency with IFRS principles
