We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our dedicated and encouraging Engineering Finance Team, specifically within Inventory Management and Planning. You will be exposed to a variety of opportunities to allow you to broaden your experience within the world of aviation, whether that is through supporting in commercial negotiations with some of the industries largest and most well-known Engineering companies, or working alongside the business to devise long-term maintenance strategies for our fleet.
As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for driving the business to achieve it’s financial and related targets whilst ensuring compliance with all requirements.
Using your ability to develop business strategies, you will own the planning, budgeting and forecasting requirements for each area, and will develop plans and actions with the business to achieve strategy through knowledge sharing.
As an inspiring leader, you will have 2 direct reports and will be accountable for high level budgets.
You will also play a key part in leading supplier cost reduction programmes, and your experience of achieving financial targets and internal control will allow you to ensure all major decisions are taken with sufficient understanding of their financial consequences.
Duties will include –
- Maintaining and progressing inventory and related balance sheet accounts for Supply Chain
- Engagement with the auditors at year end as well as maintenance and responsibility of Internal Control work for Inventory within Engineering
- Using insights to advise on decisions to reduce cost, and increase profit and revenue, balancing financial performance with the customer value proposition
- Encouraging rigour and a financial mind-set for business decision making
An Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent is needed for this role
