Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Head of Finance and Accounts Department
2. To review and maintain the financial / costing / accounting records and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements of Malaysian Private Entity Reporting Standards (MPERS)
3. To prepare detailed and accurate financial and management analysis, budgeting and cash flow projections and business analysis with particular emphasis on timeliness and accuracy
4. To develop value-added analysis focusing on cost savings opportunities and efficiencies
5. To liaise with both internal and external parties including financial institutions, auditors, tax agents, tax authorities, company secretaries, government bodies for statutory and legislative requirements
6. To proactively identify key issues and opportunities and make recommendations to management on financial and non-financial matters
7. Lead the finance team for the overall financial performance of the company
8. To undertake other ad-hoc corporate assignments as may be required from time to time by the management
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCES REQUIREMENTS :
1. Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting, ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
2. Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 3 years in managerial position.
3. Knowledge in computerized accounting system, preferably in Autocount Accounting system and spreadsheets.
4. Knowledge of computer hardware and networking products.
5. Strong knowledge in financial accounting (GL, AR, AP) processes with previous experience in handling full sets of accounts and auditing.
