SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

• Responsible for timely preparation and reviewing of management accounts and financial reports, group consolidates accounts
• Preparation of financial forecasts, annual budgets and monthly profit & lost forecast
• Preparation of group consolidations, segmental profit & loss and segmental balance sheet
• Handling payments and treasury matters 
• Handling bank facilities & leasing arrangement for financing requirement
• Ability to monitor project costing & realisation of project
• Monitoring & handling insurance and taxation matters
• Formulate, implement and monitor the accounting & treasury policies and compliance with group policies, procedure and accounting standard
• Liaise with bankers, tax agent/tax consultant, auditors, company secretary and relevant government authorities
• Monitoring the preparation and submission of SST forms in compliance with SST ruling and deadlines
• Any ad-hoc assignments as and when required that management assign from time to time
• To perform statutory audit services to comply with Malaysia approved accounting standards 
• Your job scope may also include taxation, SST and accounting work
• Manage in preparation of full set of accounts
• Perform accounting operational duty such as preparation of journals and reconciliation of general ledger to support monthly ledger closing and reporting schedules
• Prepare financial statements and monthly management report with compliance to accounting standards (IFRS, MFRS) & company policies
• Manage cash flow and banking facilities including assisting in preparation of projections
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, insurance, banks and other statutory bodies/authorities on internal and external audit matters, and all statutory and tax/SST tax requirement compliances
• Preparation of financial budgets, forecast, cash flow management
• Verify staff claims & petty cash
• Verify receipts posting and issue payment
• Review and monitor day to day activities related to credit and collection payments
• Prepare payroll cycle including HR letters, statutory contribution and submission to the authority
• Review internal control and system gaps and providing workable solutions for the business and its operations
• Review and provide guidance and training subordinates
• Lead and manage a team of executives in the Accounts department
• Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as when required for the management team

Qualification
• Candidate, must possess at least Bachelor’s degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent from an established accounting body a recognized by MIA,ACCA,ICAEW or MACPA.
• Candidate who are sitting for professional qualification with 1-2-year(s) experiences are encouraged to apply.
• Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia. Can speak in Mandarin is an advantage
• At least 3 year (s) of combined accounting experience preferably a mix of audit firm and commercial exposure.
• Experience in any accounting system is an advantage
• Required skill (s): good negotiation, coordination, communications, highly driven & committed
• Preferably Senior Executive specialised in Finance – Audit/ Tax/Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum requirement of their qualification : Pursuing ACCA qualification until Strategic Professional level (ACCA Student) / Completed ACCA qualification (ACCA Affiliate)
