Finance Executive (APAC- MNC)

Assist the Financial Controller in the administration of the Accounts Payables/Receivables related to the APAC functions assigned.

Our client is a well-known Japanese MNC firm that manufactures and distributes products in the entertainment industry. Providing an array of product offerings under their portfolio, the company has consistently enjoyed year on year revenue growth. To support the continuous growth, the team has newly created a Finance & Admin position to scale the finance team in Singapore.

Description

Accounting

• Prepare/analyse/review invoices, payments,including PO matching, wire transfer and payments to supplier and set up for payment approvals related to AP
• Perform AR related function including updating of receipts, generation of Sales invoices, SOA
• Assist in month end closing including journal entries
• liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as suppliers / customers on outstanding payments or any discrepancies
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation for completeness and accuracy of figures
• Processing of staff claims ensuring completeness of supporting documents

Admin

• Proper filing and maintain archieve records related to Finance
• Answering phone calls and assisting with visitors eg. handling mails, pantry and stationery supply
• other adhoc finance assignment

Profile

• Diploma in Accountancy / relevant field
• Min. 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in commercial fields
• Proficient in MS office applications
• Knowledge in using accounting systems will be added advantage eg. Oracle / SAP
• Team player, meticulous and detailed oriented
