The job: IT Business Analyst

We are looking for a driven individual to join our team of Business Analysts at Inchinnan. In this role you will support a busy function and hold responsibility for the support of the LSG order to cash process mainly in the ERP space of Oracle JD Edwards for production support. This is a great opportunity for an OTC SME individual to join the OTC IT BA team in Inchinnan as an IT junior business analyst as ticket support initially with a career path within IT Business Analysis.

What will you do?

• Supports E1 ERP and Web Business
• Excellent Knowledge of OTC area. Subject matter best practices
• Communicate and collaborate closely with users based at the site to analyse problem areas
• Liaise between the business, technology teams and support teams
• Participate in Service Desk function to resolve user related support calls
• Prepare, execute test plans for new functionality
• Publish communication related to the deployment of new functionality
• Ensure compliance to Thermo Fisher IT Policies and Guidelines.

Who we are looking for:

• Degree or certificate in Computer Science subject beneficial
• SME OTC Business experience required
• Ability to Plan, Organise and structure work
• Showcase good analytical and evaluative skills in tasks
• Showcase good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask
• Have good interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge and experience of E1 ERP System
