About the role
The Management Accountant is responsible for analysing the financial performance and position of CSV, business case development, support and development of the published budget.
About you
- Thorough understanding of: public sector accrual & budgeting; performance measurement and reporting; capital costing and asset investment analysis; and, the provisions of the Finance Management Act 1994 and associated policies, practices and procedures
- Supporting role to Finance Manager to deliver objectives in a diverse and complex environment
- Provide support in delivering effective balance sheet budget development and asset financial management advice within the State's financial system
- Provide support in the preparation or independent review of business cases/resourcing submissions for government deliberation
- Competent user of relevant financial systems (e.g., Oracle Financials, Axiom, Business Intelligence, SRIMS, etc.).
