About the role

The Management Accountant is responsible for analysing the financial performance and position of CSV, business case development, support and development of the published budget.

About you
  • Thorough understanding of: public sector accrual & budgeting; performance measurement and reporting; capital costing and asset investment analysis; and, the provisions of the Finance Management Act 1994 and associated policies, practices and procedures
  • Supporting role to Finance Manager to deliver objectives in a diverse and complex environment
  • Provide support in delivering effective balance sheet budget development and asset financial management advice within the State's financial system
  • Provide support in the preparation or independent review of business cases/resourcing submissions for government deliberation
  • Competent user of relevant financial systems (e.g., Oracle Financials, Axiom, Business Intelligence, SRIMS, etc.).
