Client Accountant

You'll be a vital player in our Client Accounting team, creating value and making a difference to our fast-paced organisation.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare accounts
• Review accounts prepared by other team members
• Review ledgers & provide feedback to bookkeepers
• Provide training & development to bookkeepers

Every day brings a new challenge so you’ll need to be a team player at heart, with an eye for detail, great organisational skills so you can prioritise your day and sometimes with conflicting deadlines that still need to be met. Being able to build and maintain relationships is part of our Group culture. We will need you to help deliver exceptional service to our ever-growing client base.

You’ll need to build strong relationships across the wider business and help us ensure we are compliant with applicable laws, service standards, company policies and procedures. You will need to have a curious mind and use your own judgement to identify any risks or concerns ensuring you report them in a timely manner. In short, being resilient is essential.

• Relevant experience in a similar role within the financial sector
• Relevant professional qualifications
• Good knowledge of Trust and Company accounts and bookkeeping
• Excellent knowledge of the Finance Industry in Jersey
