Our partner is a young international grants making organisation, supporting the work of environmental charities in the UK and overseas. They are seeking an experienced audit and assurance professional to support them in developing a grant audit & assurance function.
Scope of the work
- To support them in creating an audit plan and audit framework that they can use to undertake audits of their grantees and due diligence assignments.
- To undertake 3-4 audits of their grantees in the UK and India
Requirements
- Qualified senior audit professional with experience of devising an audit plan & audit framework, undertaking a range of grant and due diligence assignments, and other special investigations.
- Experience of undertaking grant audits of charities in the UK and overseas.
They expect a total time commitment of around 10 weeks, this is to be spread over a period of 6 months. The role will be UK-based with travel to India to undertake 2 audits there.
