Job Description:

The Equities product control function provides support to the financial controllers and trading desks to ensure that the P&L, balance sheet, and month end close procedures are done correctly and accurately.

As an analyst within the Projects function – you will help support the overall team objectives across a wider variety of projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will be the key resource within the team for maintaining project updates in tools such as MyPM and being able to provide senior management and stakeholders with regular project updates.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day maintenance of project plans, metrics, risk/issues as well as development and occasional presentation of project status reports / updates to the organization and senior management
  • Provide project or business analysis support as necessary to the overall Projects team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in in relevant area (Finance, Economics etc) or 1-2 years of financial services experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate personal initiative, ownership and accountability
  • Effective interpersonal, relationship building and influencing skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with a wide variety of stakeholders across teams and functions.
  • Able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment
